MT- UV 2000HR UV Hybrid Printer

Challenge:

Impressa Graphics served a diverse clientele needing print on an enormous variety of items—from rigid awards and phone cases to rolled PVC banners and leather portfolios. They were using multiple dedicated machines (a flatbed and a roll-to-roll), which consumed space, required different operator skills, and created bottlenecks. They needed one solution to streamline production and accept any job that came through the door.

Solution & Detailed Implementation:

The MTUTech hybrid UV 2000 was the perfect answer. Its convertible bed system allowed seamless switching between rigid and flexible media.

Rigid Mode:

For a corporate client's annual awards, they placed 50 laser-engraved crystal blocks on the flat vacuum table. The printer's precise registration system allowed them to print names, logos, and intricate borders directly onto the flat surfaces of the crystal in a single automated pass.

Flexible Mode:

The next job was a 50-meter backdrop banner for a tech conference. They simply switched the bed to roller mode, loaded a roll of 1.5m wide vinyl, and sent the file. The printer's dedicated servo system for roll media ensured perfect tension and registration during high-speed printing.

Result:

Production efficiency increased by 60%. The ability to “say yes” to any substrate—rigid, flexible, thick, thin, or oddly shaped—became their key selling proposition. Client satisfaction soared due to faster turnaround times, and operational costs were simplified with one machine, one ink system, and one software platform to manage.
